All about the one behind the camera

Thank you for considering me to memorialize your personal life moments through photography. I am beyond ecstatic to work with you and learn more about you! I know being in front of the camera can feel vulnerable, so please continue reading below to learn more about me.

Hello (hopefully) future client! For starters, my name is Chelsea Hedrick. The name Walker Photography comes from my maiden name. Everyone always asks if I'll change the name, but since so many know my business as Walker Photography, its a little late for changing the name. I graduated from Lebanon High School, and I was fortunate for the opportunity to continue my education at Cumberland University where I earned my Associate of Arts Degree. I currently live in Dekalb County with my husband and our fur babies.

I knew from a young age that I had a passion for photography. I started taking pictures in 2013 when I was just 12 years old. I started out just for fun on my phone. You can still find those pictures on my Instagram if you look hard enough! Then, in 2018, I took the next step in starting to grow my passion, I bought my first camera, a canon eos rebel t6. I decided in 2020 to start my own business, which I called Walker Photography. Now, I have been able to upgrade my equipment and my client list continues to grow! I currently shoot with a sony a7iii. None of this would be possible without yall, so thank you!

Outside of my photography business. A few fun facts about me. I was born and raised in middle Tennessee where I plan to stay. When I am not taking pictures you'll find me spending time with my husband and my family. I absolutely love being outside, I mean I am an outdoor photographer. Last fun fact for the day, I started out as a landscape photographer, capturing Tennessee's beautiful landscapes, which I still absolutely love to do, but when I started up my business is when I got into portraits.
